Engineered and manufactured to meet the most demanding safety requirements, our LNG vessels can be optimized for on-demand or continuous gas flow for satellite regasification installations. Integration of one or more thermosiphon connections available for vehicle fueling and bunkering facilities.

Superior vacuum technology to curtail fugitive emissions

Our specialized LNG tanks are available in both vertical and horizontal configurations, providing flexibility to meet a wide range of stationary storage and application requirements. Each vessel is engineered and manufactured to the highest ISO 9001:2015 standards and in accordance with EN 13458 and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. Standard dual safety relief devices provide an additional level of overpressure protection.

Piping layouts are individually configured to meet the customer’s specific operational and installation requirements. Fabricated from high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the thermosiphon sumps, piping and valves support long-term durability, reliability, and performance.

Safety is integrated into every stage of our engineering and manufacturing process— a durable industrial coating system, consisting of an epoxy primer and polyurethane enamel topcoat, provides long-term protection against demanding operating environments. For applications requiring enhanced fire resistance, an in-house certified passive fire protection (PFP) coating is also available.

Fueling the natural gas economy

The vessels in the SCS-LNG product line are specifically designed to safely store natural gas at the extremely low temperature of -162 C (-260 F). Minimal temperature fluctuations and product loss are ensured by high-quality vacuum/perlite or vacuum/multi-layer insulation.

Vessels to store liquid hydrogen have to fulfill the highest demand on craftsmanship and precision.

Auguste Cryogenics is proud to be one of the very few certified liquefied hydrogen pressure vessel manufacturers worldwide.

Liquid hydrogen (LH2) is one of the coldest and most sensitive fluids known to exist. Most materials become brittle at such extreme temperatures. Therefore, we pride ourselves in innovative safety standards and design elements to satisfy -253°C (-423°F) conditions.

Our engineering solutions incorporate the latest “structural necessity” and the GOLD STANDARD vacuum technology to lead the industry. All Auguste Cryogenics’ LH2 storage vessels are designed and manufactured to European code EN 13458 following PED 2014/68/EU guidelines. This equipment directive is comprised of strict rules for flammable gases.
